My Bio: Eliot Sanford
I love Jesus Christ and seek to serve Him. I'm a student at Mississippi State in my fifth year majoring in French and Journalism. Lord willing, I will join a missions organization after spring graduation.
I came to faith in Christ around the age of ten, but have learned more and more what it really means to follow Christ over the past few years. I'm inspired by Acts 4:32-37 to find similar Gospel community and by Matt:28:16-20 to make disciples.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." -Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20)
I am not without sin (many of my friends and family have a long list of my sins). I have many flaws and sins that would keep me from being with God after death, but by the grace of God, I have been renewed by the righteousness of Jesus Christ. I'm ever thankful and hope to live a life that honors his costly sacrifice on the cross. Though I'm still in my sinful nature, I'm continually learning by faith to be a better man through the example of Christ, my loving redeemer.
"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." -Paul (Galatians 2:20)
